HomestayLearning about culture in a classroom is not the same as experiencing it. CLC is the only language school in Kampala that offers foreigners wishing to experience Ugandan culture through a Homestay experience.
Clients who wish to participate in this sort of rich cultural exchange may request for a Homestay program. Following such a request CLC will match the client with a local family. The client will then stay with the family for the duration of their language program. CLC's long experience with Homestay arrangements also facilitates the cross cultural adaption between families and students.
Translation, Transcription and Proof Reading
CLC supports the government in educating people in their own languages by offering translation services. Translation of texts from English to local languages or from local languages to English is also available for individuals and private organizations.
Computer Training
With the rapidly growing demand for computer skills, CLC is now offering computer training to Ugandans who wish to increase their computer literacy. These classes cover MS Word, MS Excel and the basics of desktop publishing. Computers are available at the CLC Campus for instruction and practice.
Cross Cultural Orientation
